Ideally situated beside NH 42 in a tranquil secluded   and  sylvan surrounding having aatmosphere of idyllic charms aesthetic and spiritual appeal conducive to the healthy growth of an institution of higher learning has been grooming students for long 38 years.The college iaffiliated to Sambalpur university as well as council of higher secondary education , Orissa provides instruction at higher secondary and degree stage in both arts and science faculty and also provides Honours teaching facilities in the subject like English, Oriya , Sanskrit, History, Philosophy and political Science.The college can boost its teaching standards with well equipped laboratories , rich automated library and its gents hostel  adjacent to  the main college  building.  These apart  financial and other aids are also available  to the students  from  Government  and  College Source  for encouraging  and promotng higher education among the needy and deserving.

 

  

 Methodology

 To prove the functionality of the institution in accordance with excellence in quality education; We have undertaken the reportof self study in the light of self study document of the (N.A.A.C)
through a steering committee constituted for the purpose. We have analysed the three years period preceding the SelfStudy namely 2001 - 02 ,02 - 03, 03 - 04, as the review period 
assesement and collected the information relating toall the aspects of seven criterion fixed by N.A.A.C . The currentyear data 04 - 05 has also been taken for giving present status of the college.The steering committee , in accordance withthe framework allocated the responsibility to the differentmembers in order to collect the various areas of information required as input . A format is maintained for the information. The information is based upon two areas of concern:College profile and department profile

fields of life.Further it is committed for its all round sucess by introducing wide varieties of proffessionals and vocational courses fo rrural students to meet the present day challenges of life.However it is our endeavour to impart the right educationfor building the ideal citizen of tomorrow.
